How I work: Clients come to me because they have seen my advertising and know that i can help them, or they come for sessions because they have been referred by either their doctor or by another health professional, or by their manager at work, or an employee assistance program. In our first session we talk about what is the matter and then look at different ways to approach it. We take into account how much of an investment in time and money that you want to make and choose an approach based on that. There is always some results that can be acheived no matter what level you wish to work at.
Experiece: I have been in private practice as a psychotherapist and counsellor for 9 years. I have also worked with various agencies and organisations. For 5 years i worked for the NHS in primary care as a counsellor, psychotherapist and group therapist.
Approach: I use an approach that best suits what both you, the client, and I have decided fits your requirements. My training has been long and varied and i am always involved in continuing professional development, and so i am taking on nw approaches all of the time to add to my repertoire available to us.
Who I see: I am comfortable with people of all classes. I have a lot of experience with all different kinds of clients and the variety of problems and issues that they may have. I am committed to anti-discriminatory practice and welcome clients from all backgrounds, cultures and sexualities.
Fees: Each session is £45-00 and lasts for a duration of 50 minutes, regardless of what types of therapies or coaching we use.
